EPA recognizes AGWA

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognized the Akron Global Water Alliance (AGWA) as a water technology cluster following the launch of the Akron Global Water Alliance. This is an important distinction, and one that is shared among only 13 other organizations nationwide. While the clusters are not affiliated directly with EPA, the federal organization works to support their efforts in the environmental technology field as these clusters may play valuable roles in the future of the U.S.

These water clusters are important in bringing cost-effective solutions to environmental problems. They also accelerate and streamline the development and adoption of technology.
